As a proud partner with 11th Hour Rescue, we’re touched every day by the stories of the adoptable pets that are literally saved from death row by this rescue organization. This Adopt a Dog Month, we’re highlighting some of the adorable, lovable, and hopeful pups who are waiting for their forever home right now.
11th Hour Rescue is a volunteer based, non profit, 501c3 organization that works hard to save dogs and cats from death row in kill shelters. Based out of New Jersey, they’re PetCareRx’s neighbors and partners in adding love to the world.
This heartbreaker is just 2 months, 18 days old.
Alice is a 6-month-old sweetheart who was rescued from a high kill shelter. She is now receiving medical attention to help treat her mange. She is on the mend and will soon be available for adoption. She gets along well with other dogs.
This dashing hero is a 9-year-old Amstaff Terrier rescued from NYC Animal Control. He’s a sweet & gentle soul.

4 & 5. Adrian & Arianna
These adorable pups were dumped at a high kill shelter, and their abandoner then drove away. Adrian and Arianna caught the eye of an EHR rescuer who took them in. Adrian is a Pomeranian, Arianna is a Chihuahua. They are emotionally dependent on each other and need to find a home together. They’re very loving dogs who will fill your life with kisses and cuddles forever.
Abby is a young Yellow Lab mix, under a year old, and she’s on the small side. She is a sweet, spayed girl and is up to date on her shots. She gets along will all people and dogs, but has not yet been tested with cats.
